• Avoid sun and tanning beds for four weeks before treatment.
• Stop using an exfoliant, retinol (vitamin A cream), hormone ointment, and hydroquinone three to seven days before treatment.
• Stop taking blood thinners seven days before treatment (consult with your doctor if this is possible).
• If you suffer from an active cold sore, you should not be treated and should wait until the cold sore is completely healed.
• Botox and/or filler treatments may be performed up to two weeks before treatment.
• Avoid facial treatments two to four weeks before treatment, such as strong chemical peels, micro-needling and CO2 laser
• In case of symptoms such as fever or flu, you will not be treated.

Immediately after removing the DMK Enzyme Mask, a plasmatic effect is created in the skin.

The DMK enzymes create lymphatic drainage, and you also feel the skin tightening and pulsing. This promotes a rush of fresh oxygenated blood from the skin into the dilated capillaries. You can also see this plasmatic effect as blood vessels (red lines) become visible. This will slowly disappear again within 30 to 60 minutes.

Immediately after the treatment, you can resume your daily activities. The treatment is painless and normally does not irritate. Depending on your skin’s sensitivity, redness may be visible, which usually disappears within 24 hours. However, always protect the skin well with a protection factor (SPF 50).
