The DermaClear treatment suits any skin type and may be performed during any season. The treatment can be used for anyone who wants to give their skin an optimal boost. Even the most sensitive skin can tolerate this treatment.

• Stop using an exfoliant, retinol (vitamin A), hormone cream, and hydroquinone three to seven days before treatment.
• If you suffer from an active cold sore, you should not be treated and should wait until the cold sore is completely healed.
• Botox and/or filler treatments may be performed up to two weeks before treatment.
• Avoid facial treatments two to four weeks before treatment, such as strong chemical peels, micro-needling and CO2 laser.
• In case of symptoms such as fever or flu, you will not be treated.

The skin is cleaned beforehand. Then your practitioner will start the three steps of the treatment.

1. Eliminate and exfoliate:
   Removal of dead skin cells from the top layer of the skin using alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA).
2. Loosening and cleansing:
   Deep cleansing of the skin through salicylic acid (BHA) allows nourishing and moisturizing solutions are better absorbed.
3. Nourish and hydrate:
   Nourishing ingredients and antioxidants are infused into the skin.

Immediately after treatment, the skin may be slightly red and swollen. The redness and swelling usually disappear within 48 hours. After the Dermaclear treatment, the skin immediately gets a glow and a healthy look. It is recommended to use home care to prolong the result and take optimal care of the skin.

Immediately after the treatment, you can resume your daily activities. The treatment is painless and typically does not irritate. Depending on your skin’s sensitivity, redness may be visible, which usually disappears within 24 hours.
