The Herbal Peel stimulates blood flow, increases skin metabolism and causing the top layer of skin to renew itself, resulting in fresh new skin.

What is an Herbal Peel?

The Herbal Peel is a peeling in which a mixture of herbs, among other ingredients, is applied to the skin. These herbs encourage the skin to regenerate itself, so that the skin will stimulate itself from within and the top layer of the skin will renew itself. New cells are formed faster, which has a positive influence on the production of collagen and elastin. The peeling ensures that the skin structure improves, the skin becomes smoother and fresher. The Herbal peeling can be used on the face as well as on the body.

What is it used for?

  • Dull skin
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Acne
  • Fine lines

How to prepare for the treatment?

  • Avoid sun and tanning beds for four weeks prior to treatment.
  • Stop using three to seven days before treatment: an exfoliant, retinol (vitamin A cream), hormone cream and hydroquinone.
  • If you suffer from an active cold sore, you should not be treated and should wait until the cold sore is completely healed.
  • Botox and/or filler treatments may be performed up to two weeks prior to treatment.
  • Avoid facial treatments two to four weeks before treatment, such as strong chemical peels, micro-needling, and CO2 laser
  • In case of symptoms such as fever or flu, you will not be treated.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, the treatment cannot be performed.

How does the treatment work?

Before treatment, we thoroughly cleanse and disinfect the skin. After the skin is cleansed, we apply the herbal peel and massage it into the skin. This provides additional stimulation to the blood circulation. After a few minutes, the herbal peeling is removed, we will finish the treatment with a sunscreen.

Possible skin reaction after the treatment

Immediately after treatment, the skin may be red and swollen. The skin may also feel tight and slightly tingling or burning. On average, these skin reactions disappear within a few hours to 3 days. The days after treatment, when the skin is recovering, the skin may feel itchy. After about 3-5 days, the shedding process begins. From day 3 to 5 you will probably experience the worst peeling and flaking. In the last few days (day 6-8), the last flakes will fall off.
